So, from where would Jesus send a postcard? If he were on holiday where would he go?
Summer camp?
Package holiday?
Extreme sports holiday?
What's the pint of scuba diving if you can walk on water?
Just for fun. Thinking this way offers an insight into what we actually do believe about Jesus. For example, if he went to Butlins then we believe he was a saviour of the people. So, on you go: what would be Jesus ideal holiday?
I think Jesus would like to go to madeira he could be closer to nature there and have nice weather not to hot not to cold.

I have an Australian friend who is much travelled - we met in Darjeeling. When she goes on holiday she gives friends and work colleagues a return date a week after her actual return so that she can enjoy a week of quiet in her own home. She toys with the idea of 'arranging' a trip and not going anywhere at all! Jesus seems to have been constantly 'in demand' - folk wouldn't leave him alone on his hols - so maybe he'd enjoy something similar. He'd send a postcard of sunny Clydebank to be delivered 'on his return'.

I'm that these would suit Jesus:
A'Retreat on the Streets'.(A day 'being homeless' with only £1.50 as organised by the Lodging House Mission.)
Iona- where he would feel very 'at home'.
Berlin now a City renewed and committed to Peace and Welcome.
Newcastle upon Tyne and Durham because the Geordies are such fun.

In my mind he would be a hitch hiker, travelling light & trusting those who stopped for him along the way and sharing what he could with them.
