Measure

Been skimming thorugh my latest edition of Third Way which is the best thoughtful Christian comment on the social and political and cultural issues of the day. A discerning and situationalist place to be, the third way, rather than in the polarised positions at either extreme. There ought to be a whole lot of grey out there and a whole lot less black and white.

Anyway a wee quote:

Think of the poorest person you've ever
met. Then measure any proposed action
against the impact it will have on them.

Seems a good measure to have.

A very good measure indeed if we applied it all over it would be great but i am afraid humankind is not so thoughtful we try but i sam afraid we fall very short of such an ideal.
