Yesterday we unveiled a mosaic CAOS (our community arts project) worked on with young folk over the last few months along with Tullochan Trust. It was a good wee afternoon where the provost and others were there, and quite right that they were too.
CAOS has been doing extremely well. It has been very busy and we've been working with children, adults, women, people with mental health issues, have built a team of 21 volunteers from the local community, and done an incredible amount of work in our first year with all sort of things. In the last 10 weeks we had over a 1000 contacts with people. That's a 1000 opportunities to care and refocus and support people.
Anyway, more about that later. The mosaic is fabulous. We took the young people down to the Titan Crane and around Clydebank and they took photographs. One photo was take through the window of a bus and came out all squiggly. It looked fabulous so we turned it into this mosaic. Ta-da... Brilliant.
