Here's a wee excellent note and open challenge from John Richardson...
Reading “Choc Teapots” this morning, brought to mind this nursery rhyme. Many of them are coded messages about the Church and the religious happenings of past times. Can we perhaps write some for our era?
Little Jack Horner sat in the corner
Eating his Christmas pie,
He put in his thumb and pulled out a plum
And said "What a good boy am I!"
Big, Bold Pharisee; stood in full view,
Saying, his quota of prayers.
He applauded himself in each line he said,
“Thank God, I’m not like him over there!”.
