WHO ARE WE? • We are married, not married, single, separated, divorced and remarried. • We are different generations of brothers, sisters, adults and children. • We are all genders and sexualities, lifestyles and experiences and a few prejudices too. • We are people very new to the church and many who have been here longer than they care to remember. • We are folks who know little about the Bible and those who know quite a bit about it. • We are Sunday morning only members and those who come to everything. • We are beginners on the journey of faith along with those who have travelled quite a distance. • We are people looking for something BIGGER in life. • We are a mix of explorers and traditionalists • We are people who want to be together: caring accepting and loving each other. But most of all... people who want to be together: caring, accepting and loving each other.

Easter is Back

Doctor-Who-S5-Matt-Smith-Tardis-290x400 All you need for Easter is a Dr Who episode and that's exactly what we are going to get. It premiers on Sat 23rd and is always the perfect choice for a season about resurrection.

Not just resurrection into some monochrome semi-existence but resurrection into adventure and mystery and wonders that have yet to be explained. So the parable begins with a box and a door opening and someone popping out and then the adventure really begins as those who accompanied him before arrive on scene and journey with him, seeing things anew, seeing themselves in a new light. The Dr changes (though not this time) yet stays the same.

Can't wait. Quite a journey to go before then, but it all seems possible now.
