WHO ARE WE? • We are married, not married, single, separated, divorced and remarried. • We are different generations of brothers, sisters, adults and children. • We are all genders and sexualities, lifestyles and experiences and a few prejudices too. • We are people very new to the church and many who have been here longer than they care to remember. • We are folks who know little about the Bible and those who know quite a bit about it. • We are Sunday morning only members and those who come to everything. • We are beginners on the journey of faith along with those who have travelled quite a distance. • We are people looking for something BIGGER in life. • We are a mix of explorers and traditionalists • We are people who want to be together: caring accepting and loving each other. But most of all... people who want to be together: caring, accepting and loving each other.

A New Dawn...

Tonight saw a new dawn at Abbotsford. New Dawn

We are now linked with our extended church family at Dalmuir Barclay under our new minister, the Rev Fiona Maxwell. 

And what a night!

After the formal part of the linkage service, "tea" was served in the large hall which was bursting to the seams with like minded people enjoying a chat and friendship together.

Then the "highlight" of the evening, when we returned to the church for presentations to those who had helped during the year long vacancy and a wee introduction to our new minister mingled with songs from the excellent singers from Dalmuir Barclay. A good time was had by one and all and I would like to thank all the people involved in bringing it together and making it such a great night.

Thank you one and all... and WELCOME Fiona!
