WHO ARE WE? • We are married, not married, single, separated, divorced and remarried. • We are different generations of brothers, sisters, adults and children. • We are all genders and sexualities, lifestyles and experiences and a few prejudices too. • We are people very new to the church and many who have been here longer than they care to remember. • We are folks who know little about the Bible and those who know quite a bit about it. • We are Sunday morning only members and those who come to everything. • We are beginners on the journey of faith along with those who have travelled quite a distance. • We are people looking for something BIGGER in life. • We are a mix of explorers and traditionalists • We are people who want to be together: caring accepting and loving each other. But most of all... people who want to be together: caring, accepting and loving each other.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Business as usual at Abbotsford on this, the first day of January 2017.

WELCOMEClydebank was deserted as we made our way down to open up at the back of nine. 

However, we were hopefully expecting some of the folks from Linnvale: St Cuthbert's to come along to our service this morning... and were certainly not disappointed. Our visitors arrived by mini bus, by car and on foot and we were really pleased to see them on a bright although cold and windy morning. The Ginger Wine and Shortbread offered to the hardy souls who made it along were well received and the 'Welcoming Hall' was looking VERY busy at one point as introductions and 'Happy New Years' were exchanged.

A great start to the new year and I sincerely hope that the rest of the year is as good.
